The "Lost Reagan Speeches": God and Oligarchy

Brookhaven Truthaganda Pieces:  The "Lost Reagan Speeches": God and Oligarchy

Crafted from "Ceremony" by Miki Higashino

Crafted from "Flight of the Red Wings" by Nobuo Uematsu. Performed by the Tokyo City Philharmonic.

    Listen:

Just a word of warning to you here.  Some of you might very well find this piece offensive.  I find it kinda offensive myself, and I'm the one that put it together.  By moving a word around here or there, I managed to do what might well have otherwise been impossible...I managed to make Ronald Reagan tell the truth about the Christian Church, the State, and probably even out his own opinion about the value of human life.

History has shown that, even if Ronald Reagan were not personally a very bad man (which, I happen to believe he was every bit as vicious as his policies would appear to indicate...), his policies were reprehensible, and amounted to a legally-entrenched war against the middle-class and the poor.  Ray Charles, the famous blind musician and pianist who contributed a lot to the culture of the world over his several-decades-long career, died right about the same time as Ronald Reagan, as I...ahem...RECALL....yet Ronald Reagan, whose disgusting plutocrat-centric thinking led to such brilliance as "trickle-down economics", and whose political successors have left us a 14 trillion dollar deficit while handing our lives and the lives of our children, those that have any, lock-stock, and barrel into the hands of an International Banking Cartel, was practically deified in the media when he died, like he was some sort of f'n saint who saved his people.  One of my biggest regrets in life is that I couldn't attend his funeral so I could spit on his corpse's face.  To say that I dislike Ronald Reagan would be a grave understatement.  To say that I would love to go to Hell and curb-check him every 7 minutes and 6 seconds for what he has done to my People...that's probably closer to the truth.  But I digress...

At any rate,  I put this speech together in order to make Ronald Reagan tell the truth about himself and the leadership of Christianity.  This is not a slam against the average Christian.  My Mom believes in that God, and she's very pious.  I also have friends who are Christian, and they're decent people despite their religious orientation or affiliation.  They're not the enemy I'm trying to attack with this piece of truthaganda, and I hope everyone realizes that.

One more thing, and this is something I'm probably not going to bother to repeat, but I want to make it clear, since I have so potentially offensive a piece here...Just because I make production pieces about messed up things (for instance, in this piece, Reagan makes reference to a guy who would rather see his daughters die young believing in God than die later not believing in God)...just because I make stuff like this, it is never to be inferred that I personally ever agree with or condone such things as might appear in my production.  I'm not an ogre, I'm not a monster.  I'm just a human being with a conscience, and I try to make production in order to spur people into bettering the world in which they live, not worsening it.  Sorry if this sounds defensive.  I've lost close friends and even family members over my beliefs in the past.  It sucks when that happens, and it especially sucks when it happens that they do not see past what is said in my work, to the message behind it...

Anyways, enough rambling on.  This piece is, from a producer's view, not too bad.  The vocals don't really get buried much in the music, and the piece has a bit of a flow to it.  It's the content that is damning, I guess. :p
