Brookhaven Music Community Profile - 67 Boss

    Brookhaven Music Community Profile - 67 Boss[audio http://brookhavenchronicles.wordpress.com/files/2009/10/67-boss-community-profile.mp3]

So of all the interviews I've done, this is probably the first one that I tried to put together, way back in the day when I was just starting the Brookhaven Chronicles. The artist known as 67 Boss and ol' Raspy have quite a bit of history, you see, and he's been doing the hip hop thing for at least as long as I've been doing the podcasting thing.

Brookhaven Music Community Profile - Flyest Magazine

Brookhaven Music Community Profile - Flyest Magazine [audio http://brookhavenchronicles.wordpress.com/files/2009/10/community-profile-flyest-magazine.mp3]

This interview is not, strictly speaking, a music one, like normally goes on Community Profiles. However, considering that one of the main features of the publication in question is the interviewing of local musicians, we felt that there was some justification for making this interview a Community Profile.

Brookhaven Music Community Profile - K.O.D

    Brookhaven Music Community Profile #6 - K.O.D[audio http://brookhavenchronicles.wordpress.com/files/2009/10/bcmp_kod.mp3]

This interview almost didn't happen.  Dre (as in 'Knock'em Out Dre, or K.O.D for short) and I keep different schedules for the most part, and he's quite a busy man, what with being official spokesman for Crunk Energy Drink and C.E.O of Bigg Dogg Records.  I myself had quite a bit on my plate as well, and we kept meaning to do this interview, but never seemed to be able to match it up.  Finally, though, we did, and the resulting interview is one of the best Community Profiles, in my humble opinion.  Feel free to take a listen and formulate your own opinion, however.

Brookhaven Music Community Profile - Minority

Brookhaven Music Community Profile  - Minority (Live from the South Dakota State Penitentary)[audio http://brookhavenchronicles.wordpress.com/files/2009/10/brookhaven-music-community-profile-minority.mp3]

This episode of the Brookhaven Community Profile series represents the first remote interview we've done.  Just a little back info 0n Minority, the featured artist of this Profile:  Minority was all set to go meet up with record execs about a record deal.  Unfortunately, there was one snag...he was not to leave the state as part of the conditions of his parole.  As I understand the story, he had filled out all the necessary forms, went through all the necessary red tape to be able to make this trip, and yet still got violated just as he was trying to board a plane to go to his meeting.

Brookhaven Music Community Profile - Kid Polo

Brookhaven Music Community Profile - Kid Polo[audio http://brookhavenchronicles.wordpress.com/files/2009/10/brookhaven-music-community-profile-kid-polo.mp3]

The third Community Profile interview featured Kid Polo, up-and-coming MC from the Rapid City area. This was a decent interview, far better than previous entries in the Community Profile series, and to this day, it remains one of the highest rated ones.
